Features

1. Different cutting patterns possible in single cutting processes

   In conventional scribing machines, to leave one edge unscribed (=Scribing pattern with non-scribed edge), or to scribe the glass into different sizes (="Multiple-size cutting pattern") would have required two or more separate processes. However, SHIRAI's cross cutting machine has been designed to scribe irregular patterns, thus allowing the user to perform such operations in a single process.
   
   
2. The scribing size and scribing glass thickness can be easily adjusted within roughly 3 minutes.
3. Cutter holders and cutter blocks are one-touch mounting/dismounting types.
4. The cross cutting machine comes standard-equipped with breaking stage.
5. Both scribing and breaking tables are air-blowing types which float the glass and allow the glass to be conveyed more smoothly.
6. The cutters are "Shirai-original" super-hard Tungsten cutter wheels.
7. Compressed air is not necessary for the machine.
