NC precision glass scribing machine

This machine was developed for scribing FPD mother glass panels. This innovative multi-cutter machine with built-in NC unit was developed using technology and ideas original to SHIRAI. The machine consists of a DENSEPAK glass fetcher/loader unit, scribing unit, and breaking unit.
By inputting the scribing size into the upper computer, the cutters will automatically be aligned for the scribing operation (Scribing accuracy is within ±0.2mm).
Shown in the figure above is the G-5 glass type machine. Machines for G-6 glass or above consist of a DENSEPAK glass fetcher/loader unit, a 6-axial jointed-arm robot for removing the glass paper, and a breaking machine (all automatic machines).
